Day 2 - Focus
How was yesterday?
For many of us, it’s filled with the challenges of caffeine withdrawal and blood sugar highs and lows.
And for others, it’s not too bad and we’re able to simply enjoy the experience.
Wherever you fell, that's okay...
The goal is not to judge ourselves, but simply focus on the journey of becoming better, improving our health and losing weight (if this is your goal).
Today is Day 2, which is going to take the most resolve. It's your 2nd day (and last!) on the shake fast and your body and mind will try to tempt you to eat and break your focus.
You can do this though.
You have only about 12 hours before bed - that's it.
The day will pass before you know it...
So my advice is to stay strong and know that tomorrow you'll be eating whole foods again, and food will never have tasted so good!
That experience of truly enjoying and appreciating food again is one of the things you’ll savour during this detox.
Yes, you will get well and feel better, but this journey you're on right now is also an "awakening."
I want you to understand you are in control.
You make your own decisions, and in terms of your body what you choose to put in it largely determines what it looks like and how it feels.
I've been where you are right now; on this detox many times - I know what you're going through, I know how difficult it can be but I know you can do it!
I'll check back in tomorrow, but for today stay focused on one shake at a time and try to get to bed early...
