1 cup frozen blueberries
2 cups baby spinach leaves
3 Brazil nuts
1 serving protein or all-in-one powder
1 cup nut milk
1 - 2 cups water

½ medium ripe avocado
1 inch knob of ginger, peeled
2 cups baby spinach leaves

1/2 banana
tablespoons hemp seeds

Construct Your Own Smoothie
Smoothie Bases
Water
Coconut Water
Unsweetened plant based milk
Non-dairy unsweetened yoghurt
Kefir
Chilled green tea
Use about 1 cup of one of the above and 1 cup of filtered water
Add Boosters
Protein powder or all-in-one powder
Dry spices (cinnamon, ginger, turmeric, cardamom)
Fresh herbs
Cacao nibs
Superfoods / greens powder
Seeds (chia, flax)
Avocado
Add 1 - 2 tablespoons (of one or more)
Add Vegetables
Spinach
Kale
Carrots
Zucchini
Cooked pumpkin
Add 1 - 2 handfuls (try to use organic if possible)
Add Sweeteners (optional)
Dates, figs, prunes or dried apricots
Raw honey
Pure maple syrup
Stevia (just a little otherwise it may leave a bitter aftertaste)
Add 1 - 2 teaspoons
Add Fruit

Cherries
Pineapple
Mango
Add 1/2 - 1 cup (frozen will make it smooth & creamy)
Blending Tips
Add a frozen component (frozen fruit or ice) to give your smoothie a creamy consistency
The order you add your ingredients in, makes a difference to the texture so if adding greens and/or powdered ingredients like protein or greens powder and cacao, blend these with the base liquid first, before adding other ingredients
